Unveils "Insite"...Lets You Keep Your Personal Electronic Devices In Sight.

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --International CES, Center Hall, Booth 10404-10415 - Audiovox Electronics Corporation (AEC), a wholly owned subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX), unveiled today its new product line called Insite...designed to help you keep your valuable electronics devices close at hand. No more leaving your smartphones, tablets or iPods®, cameras or laptops behind in restaurants, taxis or trains. Simply pair the device to you Bluetooth® enabled product or attach the signal transmitter to your valuable and turn it on. The receiver will alert you via alarm or buzz if you leave a predetermined area without your valuable electronics. There are three models; a Bluetooth separation alarm with vibrate and audible alert; a Bluetooth separation alarm with vibrating alert only, and a 433MHz RF separation alarm system with audible alert only.

"In 2011 there were sales of over a 150 million plus smartphones...there were 15 million tablets sold and roughly 50 million laptops. That's a lot of valuable electronics all with one thing in common. They are eminently losable. People leave them behind in restaurants, taxis, airports, hotels, trains and on and on. The LBT805 Bluetooth wireless alarm works with any Bluetooth enable device such as cell phones, Smartphone's and tablets and alerts the user when the unit and Bluetooth enabled device become separated by Bluetooth distance of approximately of a 30 foot operating range. This device alerts you via audible alarm or vibrating notification. This system also vibrates on incoming calls and can be used to "not answer" a call if the cell phone or Smartphone is not immediately accessible. This system also has an internal rechargeable battery. The LBT805 will be available in spring of 2012, with a suggested retail price of $59.99.

The LBT505 Bluetooth wireless alarm works with any Bluetooth enable device such as cell phones, Smartphone's and tablets and alerts the user when the unit and Bluetooth enabled device become separated by Bluetooth distance of approximately of a 30 foot operating range. This device alerts you via vibrating notification only and also vibrates on incoming calls and can be used to "not answer" a call if the cell phone or Smartphone is not immediately accessible. This system also has an internal rechargeable battery. The LBT505 will be available in spring of 2012, with a suggested retail price of $49.99.

The LRF103 RF Proximeter operates on 433MHz radio spectrum. This system has an audible alarm only which activates when the two units become separates by a distance of approximately 30 feet at Lo setting and approximately of 120 feet at High setting. The LRF103 uses two button cell batteries which are included and comes with two lanyards and surface stick tape. The LRF103 will be available in spring of 2012, with a suggested retail price of $29.99.
